Worlds First Electric Megaphone! Vintage Toa Electric EM-202 Japan Bull Horn

This is the "World's First Electric Megaphone". Made in 1954 by the TAO Company in Japan . This model megaphone was made for the Olympics that year, in Japan . It is model EM-202. It takes 6 "D" batteries. It is yellow in color. These megaphones were also used widely in Japans National Elections in 1955 . There is some great info online as well as some neat photos showing the EM-202 in action. The megaphone does show quite a bit of wear, please take a close look at all of our photos. It is functional! We threw in 6 D batteries and this megaphone fired right up. It is not going to stop a room full of screaming children in its tracks but it does amplify your voice for a smaller room to hear you. A really neat piece of history that would display really well. Price includes shipping, we will package this megaphone with care.
