Silverplated flatware set, service for 8 (minus 1 salad fork) plus 7 serving pieces, in the 1940 "Exquisite" pattern by Wm Rogers & Son (International Silver.)  Comes in tarnish resisting wooden storage chest, as shown.

8 pcs, 9" Modern Hollow Dinner Knife
8 pcs, 7-5/8" Dinner Fork
7 pcs, 6-3/4" Individual Salad Fork
16 pcs, 6-1/8" Teaspoon
8 pcs, 7-3/8" Place/Oval Soup Spoon
8 pcs, 8-1/2" Modern Hollow Grille Knife
8 pcs, 7-3/4" Grille Fork
2 pcs, 5-7/8" Sugar Spoon
1 pc, 6-7/8" Flat Handle Master Butter Knife
1 pc, 6" Solid Gravy Ladle
2 pcs, 8-3/8" Tablespoon (Serving Spoon)
1 pc, 8-3/4" Medium Solid Cold Meat Serving Fork
Good used condition overall showing some wear consistent with age & use; surface scratches, minor plate wear, heel wear, etc.  No monograms.  There is some plate removal on the heels of 4 of the salad forks, as well as some small spots on a few of the knife blades (see photos.)  Knives are marked, "Stainless" on the blades, grille knife blades are also marked, "Wm Rogers & Son."  The other pieces are marked, "Wm Rogers & Son, IS, Exquisite" on the back of the handles.
The storage chest measures 19-1/2" x 10" x 3-1/2".  The exterior shows wear & the top strip of material on the inside of the lid needs to be tacked down in three places to better secure the knives.
