VTG MICROSCOPE EYEPIECE OCULAR LENS Brass & Glass Laboratory

For your consideration is a vintage microscope eyepiece / ocular lens. It is unmarked as to manufacturer; there are no obvious markings or indentification on it anywhere. It unscrews about 1/3 of the way down and becomes two parts.The bottom diameter is 1 3/8 inch (35mm). It is 2 1/4 inch (57mm) in height. I don’t know how to judge magnification but it does not appear to be an overly powerful magnification. The glass appears to be clear, unscratched, and in very good condition. This lens comes to you in a small tin container that looks, to my eye, to be 1800s vintage. You are purchasing this item as-is and as-pictured. Thank you for your interest.
