    Vintage Sentinel Junior Ace First Aid Tin Kit, Early Edition
    We found this 1930s/1940s tin on our recent travels through Kansas and thought it would be a classy and nostalgic way to store small knick-knacks.
    Sentinel Consumer Products of Cleveland Ohio produced this popular first aid kit, which when sold contained an adhesive plaster roll, guaze bandages, cotton balls and a bottle of mercurochrome.  This early version did not list the contents on the front lid.
    This particular tin has been well used, with some superficial rust on the front lid and at the bottom, as well as scuffs, scratches and slight tin bending in spots on the lip.  However, the lid closes securely, and the graphics are good.  Four different era planes are shown on each of the sides.  The tin weighs 1 1/2 oz and measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 3/4" x 1 1/4".
