Vintage Saint Graal Argent Sterling Silver Overlay Pitcher and 7 Glasses RARE

Description

This is an absolutely fantastic vintage set of glassware by Saint Graal Argent Limoges in clear glass with sterling silver overlay. What an incredibly rare find! This is silver overlay on glass in a lacework pattern featuring leaves and ladybugs. The silver is thick, shiny and largely intact in a lovely filigree and berry design with varying graduated striped borders. There is the large pitcher measuring 8.5" high by 5.5" wide at the base and 4.5" at the top and 7 glasses measuring 5.5" high by 2" at the base and 2.75" wide at the top. The shine on this set is spectacular and is a wonderful and important example of French silver overlay from the early 1900's. Made in France.
The pitcher holds 50oz to the top and each glass is 10oz to the top.
The pitcher has a partial tag and I have pictured the "label" on the pontil. The glasses all have an "x" engraved on them and some have a "10". Some of them have other marks; but I am not sure that they are. I have attempted to picture them
There are a couple of areas on the pitcher where the silver has come of - I have pictured those areas. I did not see any type of loss on the glasses.
