Vintage Requa's Charcoal Tablet's

Description

This 7 ounce can that sold for 60 cents, is about 4 1/2 inches high and 3 inches across. It was sold as a medication for Gas, Acid Stomach and more. This "family size" can, is as I purchased it. I can not remove the top but it does sound  like there is quite a few tablets still in the can.  There is no date; however it does say the Requa Manufacturing Co in Brooklyn New York was established in 1879. The can is in pretty good vintage condition with normal wear--scratches;  but  it does have a dent in the back ( please refer to pictures).
