VINTAGE ANTIQUE 1918 NURSE BRAND DRUGS DE PREE CHEMICAL CO. WOODEN DISPLAY SIGN

Offered here is a vintage, or antique, wooden sign of sorts. It pictures a nurse and reads: "NURSE BRAND DRUGS." In small print, it is marked: "Copyright, 1918, by THE DE PREE CHEMICAL CO." (A copyright date is not always when an item was made, this could have been made into the 1920's - but is still approx. 100 years old - give or take.) It appears to be a large decal on a wooden backing. I don't know much about it. (I could not find another example anywhere in my online searching.) The wood backing measures 13 & 1/8 inches square. It is 1 & 1/8 inch thick. I think it may be only PART of a larger display. (Perhaps part of a shipping container or cabinet?) Whatever it is, it displays very nicely. The wood has small stains around the nails. There are cracks and small worn spots on the decal. The pictures tell the story. It still displays nicely, and is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
