Vintage Alka-Seltzer Advertising Barn Dance Die CutCounter Display
This antique ALKA-SELZER Die Cut Stand Up Barn Dance advertising counter display has been in the family since about 1930.
It is
9" long x 9-1/2" high x 2-1/2" deep, and complete with all of the pieces.
It is in very good condition, with vivid colors, and shows minimal wear.
Designed to be assembled with the tabs to form a 3-Dimensional advertisement for a store display.
The National Barn Dance was a country music show that aired on the radio (station WLS-AM) from 1924 to 1950.
It may be a precursor of the
Grand Ole Opry
music show, and prepared the way for other shows of similar kind,
due to its' popularity.
