    Description

You are looking at a vintage Louisville Gas and Electric Company First Aid Kit from 1972 full with most of it's original contents. This kit is in great condition and even better condition on the inside. There are a total of 31 items inside of this FAK, with 23 of those 31 being unopened and brand new. The exterior of this first aid kit has some scratches and missing paint, and some hard/soft dirt on it. There is very little rust. The LG&E Company Incorporated logo on the front is still very visible and is barely obstructed or missing anything minus the "i" in Service. The red lettering on the front is still visible. In the top right hand corner is the MS Co. Uni/Flex label. The back of this where it was mounted to a wall is in similar condition to the front. The hinges and latches still work as intended, though the latches are a bit tricky to open. Definitely not as smooth and fluent as they used to be! The item is dated "1972" due to a "Contents" list having the revision date at the top, being 07/21/1972. The inner sheet of paper attached to the lid of the box shows what color the unopened items inside of the FAK are purposed for. The dimensions of the FAK are 14" x 9 1/2" x 3" and it weighs 7 lbs, 14 oz (7.8 lbs). The contents within this item are listed below:
