Vintage 1960s IRMI M811 Musical Circus handpainted mobile with original box 1969

This handpainted mobile by IRMI is model M811, Musical Circus. It was attached to a crib for several months in 1969 (I'm part of that original household). Looks like all pieces are there and in excellent condition (see photos). Original box.
You can see the metal pole attaches to the crib. The "ring master" sits on top of the threaded pole (he has hole in bottom for this purpose). The ring master is holding a smaller metal pole with a curl on the end. This end holds the music box, which has a hook on it to which the rest of the mobile attaches. The blue piece has a nail-like protrusion at the end and you push the white piece onto that.
Music box probably hasn't been tried in over 50 years until now... No, it does NOT play music. Can be wound (counter clockwise--I didn't wind it all the way) but nothing happens.
Always in non-smoke home. Stored for many decades! Nice retro piece for display.
