VINTAGE 1950's SMITH BROTHERS BOX SMOKERS DROPS LOZENGES ADVERTISING, MEDICATED

Description

Cardboard box for Smith Brothers Medicated Smokers Drops (lozenges candy), undated on the box but my guess is that it is from the 1950's.  Box measures 4" x 2" x 1/2" and has some contents-not full however.  Sold for 10 cents, with a net weight of 1 3/8 ounces. This box came in two varieties-one with the drawings of the two Smith Brothers on the top left of the front and 3 of the 4 side panels and on the back  (like my box) and one without the drawing anywhere on the box of the Smith Brothers. That box appears to be much later in time than my box  and I don't believe it is as desirable as my box.  Condition of my box is outstanding-I have no problems to point out.  There are two other similar boxes for sale on ebay-both priced much higher than my box.
