SIX ROGERS & HAMILTON 1895 SILVERPLATE ADLINE CREAM SOUP SPOONS IN ORIGINAL BOX

Up for auction is this wonderful set of six dated 1895 Rogers and Hamilton Company cream soup spoons,  Also referred to (although incorrectly!) as ice cream spoons, the set comes in its rare fitted and marked original box.  The fancy Art Nouveau inspired spoons measure about 5 1/2 inches long.  They have the rounded bowl that is typical for cream soup spoons.  Fancy decoration on the top of the handle and top of the bowl.  Fully marked on the back and patent dated 1895.  Has a stunning, fancy monogram, although the exact letters I cannot decipher (a common theme in antique monogramming!).  In excellent condition although they could use a cleaning polishing (we left this task to the buyer at the request of previous buyers of such items as this from us in the past!).  A great set in rare box offered with NO RESERVE!!
