You're bidding on a CD-R containing
OVER 950 JPEG FORMAT IMAGES OF
individual quack medical advertisements,
with the vast majority
spanning the years from the 1880's  - 1917!    Most are earlier than 1905, with just a handful as late as 1917.
I've included many thumbnail / greatly reduced in size pictures of the images that you will receive,  so you can get a good sense of what's included in this extensive and varied quack medicical advertising image collection..
This
unique collection
features cures for blindness, deafness, cancer, worm infestation, opium and other drug addictions, and for just about any ailment suffered by the human race! The advertisers of yesteryear were able to make these
wild, outrageous and outlandish curative claims
for their products and hospital and sanitarium treatments and services because they were unfettered by any laws until the passage of the Pure Food and Drug Act of 1905.
I personally removed each ad from my extensive collection of antique magazines, and scanned it at
high resolution.
Virtually all of the
ads' filenames includes the source magazine's name and date of publication
, which makes a nice research tool for vintage advertising enthusiasts.
All captions and text are perfectly legible, and the CD-R contains
over 500 MB! of .jpg format files for your viewing pleasure!
You can, of course, copy the files from the CD to your hard drive where you can then print, resize, or arrange them in folders, etc.
Or, you can USB transfer / email them to your Tablet or eReader, depending on brand.
I find that many of the ads also make
unique screen savers and 'wallpaper' for the computer monitor

This is a 'home made' and not a 'professionally produced' CD with fancy cover graphics, etc., but, as stated, the scans are high resolution / quality and the content matter is unique!
