    Description

    One LARGE empty 1950's lithographed hinged lid tin. Originally for Curad brand product called "Battle Ribbons" which were colorful patriotic printed designs on plastic bandages like
    Army Air Force planes, Navy ships, Hearts & Stars.
    This Made in the U.S.A. embossed tin measures approximately
    3-1/2" wide by little more than 4" tall & is about 1-1/2" thick.
    It is the only one I can find that held a quantity count of 53. Most listings are smaller for 30 or 32 with the exception of one in a very poor grade/condition with 56 bandages in it when it was made.
    The last patent number indicated dates to 1956.
