Each tube has frosted side and cap surfaces for labeling, a positive seal "snap-cap" design and a pierce able top for optimal functionality. Matched pestle tips and micro-tubes can be used alone or with homogenizer. With tight tolerances, thorough homogenization of materials results in optimal efficiency of pellet reconstitution or re-suspension. Micro-pestles and homogenizer sold separately. Chemical and heat resistant, these tubes are colorant-free to eliminate potential leaching of heavy metals into samples. Manufactured and packaged in a class 10,000 cleanroom, they are certified DNase, RNase and Pyrogen-free, and made of animal and phalate/phalate-ester free polypropylene with lot control and material traceability.
