You are viewing a very nice vintage advertising thermometer in very nice condition. The scene on it is of a building with a pointed cupola on a lake-side with mountains in the background. On the bottom middle it is printed with "An Appreciation from ARTHUR H. CHAPMAN Graham-Paige COLCHESTER, CONN. The tin frame is greenish with gold color accents and measures 7 " x 5 " with glass covering it. The thermometer seems to be intact,
but not working
. To hang this is a braided cording knotted on the ends. On the back of the frame is a printed Made by NEWTON MANUFACTURING COMPANY Newton. Iowa.
