    Description

    The single greatest investment in your RO system, to improve overall performance, is a booster pump. Supply water pressure is single greatest factor in determining water production rate, RO storage tank fill rate, and brine:permeate ratio. Installation of a booster pump will improve all of the aforementioned measures of system performance.Supply water pressure 70-90 psi Increase water production rate by as much as 50-80%Improve RO tank fill rate by as much as 400%Decrease brine water to drain by as much as 80%Extend membrane life Aquatec CDP-8800 Booster Pump (Model CDP-8851-2J03-B423). Three chamber diaphragm pump, self priming, and capable of being run dry. Ideal pump for boosting supply water pressure to RO systems 100-150 GPD. The pump is a must for homes with low supply water pressure (<40 psi). The pump delivers 1.2 LPM (533GPD) at 80 psi and 2.1 LPM (7GPD) in the fully open position. The pump comes standard with 3/8" John Guest inlet/outlet fittings and operates on 24VAC, requiring an optional110v/60 Hz transformer and pressure switch for pump operation. The transformer may be purchased as part of the pump package for a small up charge. An appropriate pressure switch can be purchased separately (eBay item number:153601698652). Included with the pump are two 1/4" push to connect x 3/8" stem reducing elbows for use with 1/4" tubing.
