    Description

Antique Formaline Pharmacy Label AKA Formaldehyde to cure your throat?
    C. Charnley Pharmacist, Grove Pharmacy,Wilmslow, England
    1910s
    2 1/2" x 1 1/2" ~
    C. Charnley Pharmacist labels from the Grove Pharmacy are some of the most highly sought-after pharmacy labels you can get. Wayfair sells posters of a lot of these labels for 0's of dollars if that gives you an idea of how collectible it is. I don't know about you but I prefer to have the original antique.
These are rarely seen anymore. Pharmacy labels have become hugely collectible therefore you don't see the quack ones much anymore.
You know, I have 100's of pharmacy labels to list but just going through the first few honestly I am surprised we made it this long as a human race. This label is for curing sore throats by taking Formaldehyde, believe me when I say this is a bad idea!
This vintage advertising would look amazing hanging on your wall as home decor in any room!
This piece is a full antique.
