    Antique Cardboard Box for Bliss Native Oil, Washington DC, 1800s, Cures Lumbago!. The Alonzo O. Bliss Co. of Washington DC made this miracle cure, as listed on the side of the box, for such things as Rheumatism, Lumbago, Chilblains, Frost-Bites, Pimples, etc.  Nom doubt the science-y looking Alonzo Bliss peddled this stuff to rubes out of a colorful huckster wagon at fairs, revivals, and so forth.  Just the box is included here, which is pretty clean and bright for its age.  Add this to your Washington general store or just class up your kitchen with this awesome artifact on display! 7 3/8 x 2 3/8 x 1 1/8 inches.
