Set of 9 Webb Corbett Fine English Cut Rock Crystal Intaglio Water Wine Glass Goblets
You are bidding on a very rare and beautiful vintage set of nine elaborately cut 6 1/4" tall rock crystal wine/water goblets made by Webb & Corbett. These are in superb condition with no chips cracks or scratches. These are heavily cut with dramatic swirling leaves, dots and flowers and they also include a floral design on the foot. From what I have been told this pattern/design doesn't have a known name but I call it straight up gorgeous!
Webb Corbett Glass was set up by Herbert Webb and Thomas Webb III along with George Harry Corbett in 1897 at the Wordsley glass works near Stourbridge, England. Webb Corbett were manufacturers of high quality cut lead crystal tableware and vases. The company was taken over in 1986 by the Royal Doulton Company.
