"SMITH BROTHERS WILD CHERRY COUGH DROPS" ORIGINAL BOX
- Late 1940s - 1950s Smith Brothers, Inc. 3.5" x 2" x 0.5". Color litho on cardboard.
We are offering an early example of this instantly recognizable box design.
Both end flaps remain with their distinctive "instructional" comments. Box is empty with no contents.
NOTE: The company added wild cherry drops to their flavors in 1948. In 1963, the Smith family sold the company to Warner-Lambert.
Classic graphics with great eye appeal.
Condition is considered GOOD to FAIR with moderate surface/stain/edge wear. No tears, chips, or separations. Imagery is still bold & attractive.
Overall, we feel this box is still in very displayable condition by most standards (see photos).
